One path to the broker, and it is paranoid
Press Open position and six checks run before anything is sent: the risk notice, the account's access level, the risk model with live figures, the symbol spec and current quote, exact lots from tick value and tick size, and an idempotency key on the order so a retry can never double-fill you.

Built so the worst bug can't happen
A tool that can place trades has to be paranoid about it. These are the constraints we built in, in the order they run.
Risk notice before anything trades
A plain-English acknowledgement gates the Open position button and auto-trade. Once, not every time, and you can read it again in Settings.
Rules checked twice
At proposal, and again with live balance, open count and today's loss the instant before an order is sent. If the picture moved, the order doesn't.
Sizes rounded down, never up
Lot size comes from the broker's contract spec. If even the minimum lot risks more than your limit, it refuses and tells you why.
One path to the broker
Every order carries the idea's id as an idempotency key. A dropped connection and a retry returns the original result, not a second fill.
Read-only when you want it
Connect an account read-only and nothing can ever be placed from TickerAI. Flip execution off for the whole server with one switch.
The disclaimer is in the card, not the model
The AI can be wrong. The card says so, every time, in the renderer, where the model cannot talk its way around it.

Broker connectivity is provided by MetaKit Cloud, the MT5 API layer: more than 300 retail brokers and prop firms, live and demo, with sub-second data and signed webhooks. If your broker runs MT5, it almost certainly works.

No. TickerAI is a software tool that generates trade ideas from historical price data using AI. Ideas are not personalised financial advice or a recommendation to buy or sell, and the AI can be wrong. You decide what to do with them, and you are responsible for every trade on your account.
Yes, if you turn it on. There are three modes: ideas only, ask me first (a button on each idea opens the position after you confirm), and trade for me (ideas that pass your risk rules are placed automatically). Trade for me is available on the Pro and Max plans and needs the risk notice accepted and a full-access broker connection.
Any MetaTrader 5 broker supported by MetaKit Cloud, which is more than 300 retail brokers and prop firms, live and demo. That covers forex, metals, indices and whatever else your broker lists. Crypto prices come from Binance and need no account.
From your real balance and your risk settings. You set the maximum percent of balance to risk per trade; TickerAI reads the broker's contract specification and works out the exact lot size so hitting the stop loses that amount and no more. It rounds down, never up.
Your risk model. Max risk per trade, max open positions, a daily loss limit, and a minimum reward-to-risk. Every idea is checked against all four before you see it, and again with live figures before any order is sent. An idea that breaks a rule is flagged and cannot be executed.
It is sent to MetaKit Cloud, which runs the MT5 terminal for your account, and is not stored by TickerAI. You can connect accounts read-only, in which case nothing can ever be placed from TickerAI.
Credits meter AI usage. A message on the Flash model costs one credit and a message on the Pro model costs five. Paid plans include a monthly allowance plus a daily login bonus, and you can top up.
